FARMLAND, Ind. (WDTN) - Two people are dead after a train and car collide in Randolph County in Indiana early Sunday morning.
The accident happened just before 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the railroad crossing on North Plum Street in Farmland, Indiana.
When officials arrived on scene, they found two people were trapped inside and one was thrown from the vehicle.
One 17-year-old male and one 17-year-old female were pronounced dead at the scene. The other occupant in the car, 18-year-old Joshua Ponder, was transported by ambulance to Miami Valley Hospital.
It is not clear who was driving the car.
The accident remains under investigation.
