Man killed during home invasion

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A man was killed early Wednesday morning when he was shot during a home invasion.
The 32-year-old victim was driven by someone to Good Samaritan Hospital and then taken by ambulance to Miami Valley Hospital, where he later died.
The victim was inside a house in the 12-hundred block of Alcott Avenue when two men went inside and shot him multiple times, police say. Someone else was inside at the time, according to officers, but police didn't go into detail about what the witness may have seen.
Authorities also found a marijuana growing operation in the basement and say they've had a history of calls at the house.
The shooters are described as wearing dark clothing and carrying handguns.
Another man was killed in a home invasion a few blocks away from this shooting about a month ago.
Police don't know if there's any connection but say they'll look into it.
