SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - Springfield police are hoping you have seen two young girls so they can return home to their mother in Georgia. Seven year old Tiffany Arnett and her sister six year old Shirley Arnett have been missing since Thursday, June 18th 2009. Springfield police say the girls may be with their father and grandfather Everett Arnett Jr. and Sr. Detectives believe Everett Arnett Junior took the girls after their mother was granted custody last week. Detectives also say they did not issue an Amber alert because they don't believe the girls are in any kind of danger. However, they would like to find them quickly as one girl has medical issues, Sergeant Jeff Flores said.

"Well, it's to my understanding one of the kids requires medication and when they left we don't know how much medication was taken with them when they left so I'm sure it's getting close to being depleted so."

According to last reports, both girls were seen wearing pink shorts and shirts. If you know where the girls are, make sure you contact Springfield police at 324-7716.
