POSITION: Multi-Media Journalist

QUALIFICATIONS/JOB DESCRIPTION:

WDTN Channel 2 Dayton is looking for a Multimedia Journalist with proven reporting experience.

The candidate must have the desire and ability to develop strong stories and the skill to write, shoot, edit and present and packages, plus demonstrate strong live on air reporting skills. The position requires the multimedia journalist to report daily news stories and coordinate coverage with the assignment desk and producers.

The applicant must possess strong communication skills and be able to work effectively with others in the newsroom and in other departments under tight deadline pressure.

A college degree is required. Candidate must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Experience with Avid and INews a plus.
