These aren't your average, mom-made-you-eat-them brussel sprouts! Chef Joe Fish takes a seasonal vegetable and puts quite the delicious spin on it. A must for Thanksgiving dinners!
Sauteed Brussel Sprouts
Serves 5
Prep time: 5-10 minutes
Cook time: 5-10 minutes
Ingredients:
Brussel sprouts
Yellow onion
Button mushrooms
Garlic
Butter
Parsley
Salt & Pepper
1. Clean and score brussel sprouts. Bring water to boil and season with salt and pepper.
2. Prep yellow onion and mushrooms. Chop garlic and parsley.
3. Boil brussel sprouts until until tender.
4. During boil, saute onions in olive oil.
5. Add mushrooms and cook for 3 minutes.
6. Drain brussel sprouts, add to saute pan, and toss with mushrooms and onions.
7. Add garlic and cook to aroma.
8. Add 1/2 tablesppon butter and 1/2 tablespoon chopped parsley.
9. Season with salt and pepper and enjoy!
