Culp's Cafe Makes Breakfast Quiche

Breakfast Quiche

 

Ingredients

 

1 (9-inch) refrigerated pie crust, fitted to a 9-inch glass pie plate 

2 tsp Butter

¼ cup cooked Bacon

¼ cup cooked Sausage

¼ cup cooked Dice Potatoes

¼ cup Green Peppers

¼ cup Dice Onion 

1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese

7 eggs

21/2  cups Heavy Cream

½  cup White Wine

1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning 

1/8 tsp. pepper

1/8 tsp. salt

 

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Preheat the pie shell for 10 minutes, set a side.

In a medium sauté pan add the onion, green pepper cook for 2 minutes . Add the bacon, sausage and potatoes.

 

 Stir together eggs, cream, white wine, Italian seasoning , pepper and salt . 

Layer the sautéed  ingredients and cheese in the bottom of the pie crust, then pour the egg mixture on top. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes until the egg mixture is set. Cut into 8 wedges. Cool 15 minutes before serving.
