Steve Pleasant from Amber Rose whips up a delicious blueberry peach cobbler. Recipe included.
Blueberry Peach Cobbler
Filling
5 cps sliced peaches
4 cups blueberries
2 ¾ cps brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp vanilla
¼ cp flour
Topping
2 cps flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ cp brown sugar
8 Tbl cold butter
1 1/3 buttermilk
2 Tbl brown sugar
Oven temp at 425
For filling mix all ingredients together and spread evenly into 9 by 13 baking pan.
Topping combine all dry ingredients together and mix. Cut with cold butter until coarse crumbles form then add buttermilk and stir to a soft dough. Drop dough with well-roundedspoonfuls on top then sprinkle with brown sugar.Bake until bubbly and crust browns. Approx. 25 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
