EATON, Ohio (WDTN) - Saturday, September 29 is Prescription Drug National Take Back Day and Preble County authorities are taking advantage.
The Preble County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration, will host a drug take back event Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Sheriff’s Office located at 1139 Preble Drive.
Residents of Preble County can drop off expired and unused prescription and over the counter medications. Syringes, patches, and liquids will not be accepted. Law Enforcement will dispose of these medications in a safe, legal and environmentally conscious manner.
The event is sponsored by a local task force consisting of the Sheriff’s Office, The Preble County General Health District, the Preble County Mental Health and Recovery Board and Preble County Law Enforcement Agencies.
