CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - Advocates for Centerville City Schools turned to a popular song and YouTube to help raise awareness for the district’s tax levy on the Nov. 6 ballot.
Set to this summer’s hit “Call me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen, the video features Centerville High School’s show choir singing “Don’t Be a Maybe.”
The winners sing: “House values will be rising. Our kids will be learning. Teachers will be saved. All because of you we thank you. Hey we don't know you and this is crazy, but we need your vote. Don't be a maybe."
The video features teachers and administrators offering reasons why voters should approve Issue 57.
