Women in Business Networking Conference

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Join area community, business, and government leaders for a dynamic and inspirational conference September 29, 2010.

Women in Business Networking has grown from a single, ambitious idea to an invaluable local organization with a dynamic exchange of ideas, leadership tools and inspiration for women.

WDTN is proud to be the media partner of the 2010 Women in Business Networking Conference which will explore the skills and knowledge necessary to choose, to connect, to take risks and to lead everyday. Many women - including CEOs, government officials, non-profit leaders and business owners and executives - will come together at this year's conference to teach and learn from each other. The event will include keynote speakers of prominence, as well as panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions and networking opportunities. Participants will be inspired and challenged on how to apply leadership across all sectors: corporate, government, nonprofit, education, healthcare, legal and the military.

The Great Hall will feature exhibits from 34 local corporations and small businesses. The Market Place Boutique, a one-stop-shopping mini mall, will feature 16 women-owned retailers.

Additionally, since September is Hunger Action Month, conference attendees are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item to benefit the Foodbank serving Miami, Greene and Preble counties. In addition, a portion of the conference proceeds will given to the Dayton YWCA's Safe Sanctuary program, which provides child care for homeless children.
