DAYTON, OH (WDTN-WBDT) - The results for the 2011 Ohio News Photographer of the Year Awards are in and it's good news for one of our own here at WDTN.

2 News Chief Photographer Kris Sproles won 2nd place in the POY contest.

Kris's work was judged by photographers in other television markets including WXIA/Atlanta, GA & WHO/Des Moines, IA.

Among the stories the judges viewed as outstanding were Crazy Crash, Veteran Sprint to DC and American Hero Jesse Snow.
