Washington Twp. FD gets new fire power

WASHINGTON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - The Washington Township Fire Department is getting some new fire power.

The department just received a grant for $300,000. It will be used to purchase a combination rescue/engine vehicle.

The new unit will allow the department to replace two vehicles, a 1991 fire engine and a 1993 rescue truck.

The grant is called the Federal Assistance to Firefighters Grant.
