Toys for Tots ready for new campaign

CLARK Co., Ohio (WDTN) - The Toys for Tots program in Clark and Champaign counties is gearing up for another season of giving.

Organizers have announced the dates and times for custodial parents and guardians to sign up children.

Only toys will be given and applications must be filled out ahead of time.

You'll need proof of custody, need and address to apply, plus photo identification for the head of household and social security cards for the children.

Applications will be taken at the Springfield VFW Post, The First United Methodist Church in Bethel Township, and the Champaign County Community Center.

The dates and times are as follows:

Springfield VFW, E. Main St.:  November 15-17 and December 6 from Noon to 5pm; December 7 from 3 pm to 8 pm

First United Methodist Church, New Carlisle:  November 9-December 2; Wednesdays 3 pm to 4:30 pm and Fridays Noon to 2 pm

Champaign Community Center:  November 7,9,10,15,16,17 from 11 am to 2 pm; November 10,15,17 6 pm to 8 pm
