Zuri Hall joined WDTN in December of 2011 as an on-air host/producer of "Living Dayton", a one-of-a-kind, local lifestyle talk show. Prior to Dayton, Zuri beat out hundreds in the search for the next Face of MyINDY-TV.
At WNDY-TV, she represented the station in commercials, PSAs, and public appearances; covered local events, games, and concerts; and interviewed celebrities, from Grammy-award nominated rapper B.o.B. to famed Hollywood director, Rob Reiner.
Only one year after having graduated from The Ohio State University on academic scholarship, she won her first Emmy in the "Outstanding Host - Talent" category.
Zuri also keeps crowds energized and entertained as one of the official emcees for the NBA's Indiana Pacers, and previously emceed for the MiLB's Indianapolis Indians and the WNBA's Indiana Fever. She's also emceed for the 2011 NCAA's Women's Final Four and the 2011 Big Ten Tournament. Zuri is the main emcee for the 2012 Super Bowl Village.
Zuri started her on-camera career as a commercial actress. She has been featured in national spots for Value City Furniture, and commercials for Safe Auto, Meijer, Bluegrass Cellular, and Ohio Tourism. Zuri has performed in numerous theatrical productions including the lead in ‘Wine in the Wilderness’ and ‘Just Like Us’ at her alma mater.
Zuri received her Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication with a minor in Theatre from The Ohio State University. Her passion for the entertainment and music industries has led to past internships with companies including Def Jam Records, The Mauldin Brand Agency, The Juice 107.3, and WCMH’s morning TV show, Daytime Columbus.
Prior to joining WDTN, Nathalie was working and living in her native Los Angeles as a multi-platform host.
