Holly Samuels joined the 2News team in March 2008 as a General Assignment Reporter.  Prior to coming to WDTN-TV, she was a reporter for two years at KVRR-TV in Fargo, ND where she extensively covered the Alfonso Rodriquez death penalty trial in Federal Court.
 
Holly earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Ball State University, with a minor in History.  While in college, she reported for Newslink Indiana on WIPB in Muncie, IN and interned at WANE-TV in Ft. Wayne. Holly served as News Anchor for the "Best Newscast" awarded by the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters.
 
A former Salvation Army volunteer, Holly is married and has a cat named "Tootie."  She is also a huge Indiapolis Colts fan!!
