Dan Edwards joined WDTN Channel 2 in November, 2001 and is currently the co-anchor of 2News First at Sunrise and a General Assignment Reporter.

Dan came to Channel 2 after an extensive broadcast career in the Dayton market. Most recently, he was the AM Host for WHIO Radio and the Market Day reporter for WHIO-TV. Prior, Edwards was the PM Drive Announcer for WMMX Radio.

Edwards is a 1978 graduate of the International College of Broadcasting. He devotes a considerable amount of time to participating in community events and activities and currently serves on the Public Relations Board for the Carillon Historical Park and the Kids Voting Board of Directors.

Over the years, Edwards has received numerous awards for his broadcasting and community work in this community. He is married and has two children.
