WDTN’s Dan Edwards has enjoyed broadcasting in the Dayton Region for more than 30 years.

Born and raised in Logan County OHIO, Dan was first bitten by the broadcast bug as a Freshman radio student at Riverside High School in DeGraff, Ohio.

Upon graduation he attended International College of Broadcasting and worked in Bellefontaine and Springfield, Ohio before eventually landing an afternoon drive position at  WMMX / Mix 1077 FM in Dayton, Ohio.

His introduction to news first occurred on the radio dial as morning drive host of Miami Valley’s Morning News on 1290 AM WHIO. He later transitioned into TV news as a general assignment reporter at WDTN, Dayton’s NBC / CW affiliate.

Currently he is the morning anchor on 2 News Today from 5-7 as well as the business and education reporter.

Dan is married and the proud father of two.

He owns D.J. Edwards Group L.L.C. an entertainment company that provides music for private and corporate parties as well as Next Level Professional Development Training, utilizing effective Body Language technics.
