Marsha is an anchor/reporter at WDTN Channel 2. She currently anchors "2News At Noon", "2News at 5:30 and 6" and is the Health Reporter.
Prior to coming to Channel 2 in March of 1988, Bonhart was with Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, where she served as Media Coordinator.
Prior to that, she held positions at KTTV, Los Angeles, WKEF-TV, Dayton, WDHO-TV, Toledo, and WMHE-FM Radio, Toledo.
Marsha has won numerous awards not only for her work but also for her community involvement. She received a News Emmy Nomination for her series on "Crack Addicted Babies." In both 1993 and 2004, she won the Ohio Public Images Award for producing stories that create greater understanding and acceptance of people with developmental disabilities. Marsha also holds the YWCA Award for Personal Achievement and Community Involvement.
In 1999, Bonhart received the "304" Award from Big Brothers/Big Sisters. In 2000, she received the "Top 15 Friends" award from Artemis Center for Alternatives to Domestic Violence and in 2003 she was selected as Dayton Daily News Top Ten Women. She has also been selected as an Outstanding Young Woman of America, and The Dayton Chapter of American Women in Radio and Television chose her as Newswoman of the Year.
Marsha is a member of the Greater Dayton Association of Black Journalists and the Dayton Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
