Jackie Sprague

Jackie joined WDTN-TV in May 2012 as a reporter. She came from WTVQ-TV in Lexington, Kentucky where she was a news and sports anchor/reporter. Jackie got her big break in television at WHIZ-TV in Zanesville, Ohio where she was a reporter and evening news anchor. She also worked as a reporter/photographer/fill-in anchor in Cincinnati, Ohio at WXIX-TV.

Jackie grew up about 45 minutes south of Dayton, in Cincinnati. She graduated cum laude from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications. While attending Miami, she interned at WCPO-TV and WXIX-TV.

In her spare time, Jackie loves to spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoys playing and watching sports. She’s an avid runner and likes to compete in races around the area. She roots for all of her hometown teams; the Bearcats, Bengals, Reds, as well as the Miami Redhawks. Because she lived in Lexington for a few years and got to cover the 2012 National Champion Kentucky Wildcat Basketball team, she also cheers for them!

Jackie is excited to meet people in Dayton and get to know the area.
